Yamaha CL3 Flight Case

Flight Case for Yamaha CL3 Desk

Flight Case Description

Yamaha CL3 Console Flight Case

The 3D design team have been involved in producing manufacturing drawings for audio console flight cases for over 35 years, from the early Yamaha to their latest digital offerings, and as such, are familiar with the many frame sizes and channel configurations.

This Yamaha CL3 flight case, like all our audio mixer cases, is custom designed and built around the equipment to ensure maximum protection.

The design of this Yamaha CL3 flight case is a 10mm Birch three-part case with the front nose and lid being removable, leaving the CL3 console in the base allowing full access to the main control surface and front mounted headphone socket and level control. Many clients also use the nose cone lid as a platform to stand on. External finish is a black 'ROMA' rigid PVC laminate

At the rear is an optional enclosed cable/patch 'dog-box' with double hinges to allow for it to fold down flat behind the desk while patching etc.

In addition our client for this CL3 Yamaha flight case requested to be able to slide a 1U 19" sleeve under the console for easy access to some outboard units.

Many variations and personal preferences can be designed into each case, so you choose your design - we build it. We also offer flight cases for the Yamaha CL5, a Yamaha CL1 flight case along with all Yamaha consoles, see below for further models we cater for.

We also compliment our range of Yamaha console flight cases with 19" racks to transport the associated R Series I/O rack mounted stage box/patch units such as the Yamaha Rio3224-D, Rio1608-D etc.
